Chris Brown & Co. were thrown off a private jet on the way to Cannes on May 16 after they smoked enough weed to bother the pilot, but the singer has taken to Instagram to deny the report. WATCH here!
Chris Brown, 27, partied just a little too hard with his friends on a plane — or did he? The “Little More” singer posted a video on Instagram on May 18 in which he renounces the report that he and his entourage were kicked off a plane for “hotboxing” the aircraft. Take a look at what he had to say!
Chris blasted the original TMZ report, which said that he and his friends had been “thrown off a private jet for allegedly hotboxing the aircraft”. Chris made the video in his car while driving around the South of France, telling his followers that he made it to Cannes: “Cannes we are here! We’re gonna party up, turn up tonight… I can’t wait. It seems someone on TMZ saying we got escorted off a plane…why the hell we in Cannes if we got escorted off the plane?! One marijuana smoke on the plane, I think we kinda learned our lesson…I don’t really think we need drugs on the plane, but you should probably check with the pilot.” Watch below:
As TMZ wrote, a Miami-Dade police report stated that officials showed up to the Signature Aviation at Miami International Airport in response to a call from Chris’ pilot, who smelled marijuana in the cabin. The pilot had allegedly told Chris and his friends not to smoke on the plane, but they went ahead and did it anyway. Once the cops arrived, they asked everyone to leave the plane. Considering his friends documented the ordeal on Snapchat, Chris’ denial doesn’t really hold too much water.
Hollywood Sidekicks, do you believe Chris, or do you think he really was kicked off and had to find another way to get to Cannes?
