Miley Cyrus is NOT Team Trump! After Donald Trump received an endorsement from former KKK leader David Duke, Miley couldn’t resist expressing her disgust with the GOP candidate. See her strongly worded anti-Trump post here!
Donald Trump, 69, may be winning polls left and right, but one person he won’t be receiving a vote from is Miley Cyrus! The 23-year-old singer took to Instagram to declare her feelings about Donald just days after white supremacist David Duke showed support for the GOP candidate. While David thinks voting for Trump is the way to go, Miley thinks a Trump presidency would be a “nightmare”!
Although Miley has become the meme queen on Instagram, she posted a simple picture of Donald signing some papers with a rather smug look on his face. But it was the caption that really showed her Trump loathing: “Donald Trump is a f***ing nightmare!” Yikes, clearly Donald hasn’t made a good impression on Miley!
Considering Miley has shown her support for Bernie Sanders in the past, it’s not super surprising that she is against Trump. But the timing of her picture is quite interesting, as Trump has already been campaigning — and making plenty of controversial comments — for months. Five days before Miley shared her Trump-blasting post, David declared his support for Donald on his radio show.
“Voting for these people, voting against Donald Trump at this point, is really treason to your heritage,” he said on the David Duke Radio Program Feb. 25. “I’m not saying I endorse everything about Trump, in fact I haven’t formally endorsed him. But I do support his candidacy, and I support voting for him as a strategic action. I hope he does everything we hope he will do.”
While Miley didn’t mention anything about David’s endorsement in her Insta, her post was enough to prove that she does not agree with David. And even though Trump has actually said that he doesn’t want or need David’s support, it seems that doesn’t change anything in Miley’s mind! As more polls, primaries, and debates take place leading up to the election, we’ll definitely be keeping our eyes peeled to see if Miley shares any more thoughts on Trump!
