Now that One Direction is on hiatus, Harry Styles is hard at work on his solo career, and he wants it to mirror that of Robbie Williams, who successfully broke away from Take That in 1995. We also discovered what kind of sound Harry’s aiming for on his first solo album!
“Harry has been very busy putting the finishing touches to his solo career, recording new material in London and just trying out new things. It’s a new chapter in his life, and he wants to make sure that everything is right as he makes his next step. Harry is looking at Robbie Williams, and how he achieved success outside of Take That. He’s working with the best songwriters and producers, aiming for a more rockier sound that’ll be a lot different than what fans expect,” a source tells HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY.

Harry was actually so busy working on his solo album that that’s why he missed the BRIT Awards on Feb. 24. “Harry was happy to be nominated, but just didn’t have time to attend the Brit Awards,” our source adds. Instead, his bandmates, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne attended.
At this time, it’s not clear when Harry will be releasing his first solo album, but after hearing these new details, we’re having a hard time waiting! We just want to hear the final result. We have a good feeling we’re going to love it!
