Liam Payne, 22, has been laying pretty low since One Direction went on their hiatus, but now we know what he’s been up to aside from wooing Cheryl Fernandez-Visini, 32. It seems Liam is trying to catch up with his 1D mates like Louis Tomlinson, Harry Styles, and even Zayn Malik, by having a massive piece of ink work done.
Whoa! Who knew Liam was so interested in having every inch of his skin covered by different inks? Hopefully his rumored girlfriend, Cheryl, did… otherwise she’s in for a terrible surprise when they see each other again.
Liam just had a fresh batch of ink tattooed into his skin, including a hand “touch up” and the beginning of a new sleeve on his forearm. The sleeve tattoo looks like a pocket watch clock surrounded by the gear it tries to turn. They are both perfect!
Liam’s tattoo artist, Nikki Hurtado, shared a couple of photos on Instagram to reveal that his latest client had been Liam and that the singer “took it like a champ” without getting unforgettable. Aw!

Nikki also revealed that Liam “took” the tattoo “like a champ” during their session. However, the forearm is only just the first part of what the tattoo artist explained will be “one wild rite.”
