You’ve waited long enough, Arianators! After months of teasing, 22-year-old Ariana Grande dropped a hot new single — the first from her new album, Dangerous Woman. And we must admit: it. is. EPIC! Ari is definitely showing off her dangerous side on the title track. Listen for yourself, here!
It’s been a long, hard wait for Ariana’s first new album (not counting The Remix or Christmas & Chill) since 2014, but now that we’ve heard the title track from Dangerous Woman, we’ve decided it’s going to be sooo worth it. The song doesn’t sound like anything we’ve heard from her before! While her old tunes had an EDM and pop vibe, this new song has a slow, orchestra sound. Maybe she took some inspiration from her “Love Me Harder” collaborator The Weeknd, because it totally reminds us of his hit “Earned It.”
Ariana got a little naughty with her lyrics on the new, sexy track. Check out the chorus:

On Feb. 29, Ari admitted that she was going more mature with this album, and this song definitely embodies that. “It sits in its own world,” she said in a video chat with fans. “It doesn’t sound like anything that I’ve put out before.” At first we were nervous because we LOVE Ariana’s fun, poppy sound. The new album drops on May. 20, and it’s available for pre-order now. So far, we know four songs: “Dangerous Woman”, “Be Alright”, “Into You”, and “Let Me Love You” which is going to feature Lil Wayne! Altogether there will be 15 amazing tracks to look forward to. Now we’re even more excited to hear her perform the title track “Dangerous Woman” and “Be Alright” on Saturday Night Live on Mar. 12! The pop star will be appearing on the show as not just the performer, but the host of the evening as well. So exciting!
